WINONA LAKE — The Winona Lakes Park Department hosted their annual “Special Friends” Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15. The event, held at Winona Lake Limitless Park, Winona Lake, was open to children, youth and young at heart with special needs.

Winona Lake Parks & Recreation Director Holly Hummitch was there to greet the participants and their families. The Easter egg hunt participants carried their baskets around the designated park area, gathering brightly colored eggs. Family members and friends watched from the sidelines, chatting and enjoying the beautiful weather.
