Nine-year-old Norah Grossnickle created a message that was placed on each meal served.
Vehicles lined up beginning at 3:15 Sunday to receive a free dinner at The Sleepy Owl, Syracuse, provided by curb-side service.
Lindsey Grossnickle and LeAnne Francis deliver free meals to one of those grateful for the generosity.
Kim Cates, who happened to stop by Sleepy Owl to order carry-out, pitched in to hand out free dinners.
