WINONA LAKE – Ashley Kleinbub, following a strong week for the Grace College softball team, was honored as the Crossroads League Player of the Week Monday.

Kleinbub batted .429 and had at least one hit in all six of Grace’s games last week. She drove in seven RBIs with six runs scored. She was also 2-for-2 on stolen base attempts. 

Overall, the junior from Elwood, produced 9 hits, 6 runs and 7 RBIs in 21 at-bats. 

The Lady Lancers currently sit in fifth place in the league standings, narrowly out of third place. Grace has a trio of home doubleheaders this week, including Tuesday against St. Francis, Friday against Bethel and Saturday against Spring Arbor.
