David L. Ranstead, 60, Rochester, passed away at 2:31 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at his residence.

On March 1, 1957, David was born in Fulton County to Richard L. and Aletha M. McGee Ranstead. Growing up he shared his childhood with a sister, Karen and a brother, Rick.  He graduated from Rochester High School with the Class of 1975.

David is lovingly remembered by daughter Staci Heinzman and husband Stephen; son Aaron Ranstead and wife Kaylyn; grandchildren: Madison Kay Heinzman, Mylee Kathline Heinzman, Matilyn Marie Hildebrand, Adairus William Ranstead, Aleyna Fay Ranstead and another blessing soon to arrive, Milan Lee Ranstead;  parents Richard and Aletha Ranstead; a sister, Karen Fouts and husband Ric; a brother,  Rick Ranstead and wife Carrie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Interment will be in the Richland Center Cemetery.
