Mark C. Sharpless, 54, North Manchester, passed away at 4:30 p.m. on March 8, 2017 at his residence.

Mark was born in Willard, Ohio on May 17, 1962 to Dr. Larry D. and Joyce C. (Coppler) Sharpless.

He graduated in 1980 from Baptist Academy in Roseville, Mich. After graduating from high school, Mark served in the Navy. For 30 years, Mark worked for the city of Detroit, Mich. as a Paramedic. He was a former member of the Calvin East Presbyterian Church, Detroit, Mich.

He is preceded in death by his father Dr. Larry D. Sharpless.

Mark is survived by his mother Joyce C. Sharpless; two sisters Faith (Mike) Lunsford, Southport, N.C.; and Hope (Jim) Sobetski, Brownstown, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Peabody Chapel, 400 West 7th Street, North Manchester. Rev. Sue Babovec will officiate.
