INDIANAPOLIS – Wawasee senior Autumn Yoder was named one of 15 gymnasts from Indiana to the ICGSA Academic All-State list.

Yoder and Westview’s Karyssa Davis were the only two from the immediate area to be named to the list.

Yoder helped Wawasee to one of its highest-scoring seasons in over a decade, placing second at the sectional and fifth at the regional.

Only three other gymnasts from northern Indiana made the cut in Homestead’s Taylor Jenkins and the Crown Point duo of Shannon Harrison and Natalie Thiel.

Bloomington South had three athletes named in Catherine McGibbon, Kaylee Eurton and Emma DiLavore. Columbus East had Reagan Files and Kennedy Files both named, and neighbor Ashley Holiday of Columbus North was also named.

Noblesville had three named in sisters Madeline, Veronica and Elizabeth VanBuskirk and New Castle had Allyson Meek named.
