MAC Honors Former Concord Star House

Ball State SportsMUNCIE – Former Concord High School standout and current Ball State senior Franko House was named to the All-Mid American Conference men’s basketball third team.

The Cardinals’ captain was second on the team in points as he averaged 13.5 per game his final season. He also ranked second on the team in both rebounds (6.4) and assists (2.4).

House tied the Ball State career record for games played (126) in the regular-season finale against Northern Illinois. House also ranks among the top 10 in school history in rebounds (719), offensive boards (272), starts (110), field goal percentage (.516) and blocks (60).

The Cardinals, who are 20-11 overall, were co-champions of the MAC West Division with an 11-7 mark and earned a bye in the first round of the conference tournament. They will play Thursday in Cleveland against Western Michigan at 2:30 p.m.  The semifinals of the MAC Tournament are Friday with the championship game set for Saturday.
