The Lakeview Middle School 8th grade girls basketball team finished its season Saturday with a loss to Bremen in the second round of the NELMSC Tournament.

Lakeview rallied from a 14-point deficit in the contest, but ended up on the short end of a 34-26 final.

Kendall Wayne led the way for Lakeview with 13 points.

Kassidy Dees had four points and Ema Jenkins three. The trio of Delanie Dubbs, Sydney Lancaster and Chloie Riley each added two points.
