WARSAW — Despite warm weather just a week ago, cold weather again set in and it kept the crowds inside during First Friday March 3.

The crowd was sparse in the streets, but businesses were ready with deals for the merchant themed event. Many local downtown businesses were offering 10 percent of your purchase or giving away free goodies.

Favorites like B-Macs on Buffalo were popular, and Reinholt’s Town Square Furniture was ready for customers with freshly baked cookies.

If you were downtown for First Friday you would have noticed a new open sign. Meraki Collective and Collaboration participated in their first First Friday event after celebrating their grand opening earlier in the day.
