AKRON – The TVMS wrestling team beat Peru 60-48 and lost a hard fought battle to Wabash 61-30 Wednesday evening.

Against Peru, Matt Davis, Drake Montelongo, Hunter Eherenman, Jacob Bailey, Branson McBrier, Joel Cisneros, Braxton Davis, Tyler Nine and Johnny Gonsalez all won by pin. Luis Castillo and Ian Becker earned decisions.

In the Wabash match, winning by pin were Dalton Alber, Montelongo, McBrier and Nine. Picking up decisions were Ethan Sprague and Castillo.
