Questa Funds Available For Kosciusko Health Scholars
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — K21 Health Foundation and the Questa Education Foundation are proud to announce that funds are available to support graduating Kosciusko County high school seniors who will be majoring in health related fields. Funding is available for up to five qualified students who are residents of Kosciusko County and plan to attend an Indiana college or university. School year 2017/2018 is the sixth year that K21 has funded Questa Scholars.
Applications will be available March 1 through May 1 on the Questa website. Scholars are able to apply directly online for these low interest forgivable loans to assist with the cost of attendance at colleges and universities in Indiana.
A Questa scholar may receive up to $5,000 a year for four years – for a maximum loan of $20,000. Upon graduation, if the scholar lives and works in Northeast Indiana for five years, half of the loan is forgiven. If the student attends and graduates from one of the Questa Foundation’s regional partner institutions, an additional 25 percent of the loan is forgiven. Ultimately, a student, upon graduation, can reduce their Questa loan debt by 75 percent resulting in an amount due of $5,000 or less.
Students interested in being considered for these funds can find additional information and apply online or by calling Questa Education Foundation at (260) 407-6494. Applications will be accepted March 1 through May 1.
