WARSAW — At approximately 9:35 p.m., Feb. 17, emergency personnel responded to a hit and run incident on Cook Street.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle then fled the scene on foot. Police have apprehended the person they believe was the driver of the vehicle. The victim was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital.

Warsaw Police, Indiana State Police and Lutheran EMS were at the scene.
