WARSAW – The Edgewood Middle School girls basketball teams continued their winning ways with victories over Whitko Thursday night.

The Edgewood 8th grade team posted a 39-23 win.

Brooklyn Fitzgerald led the way with nine points. Lindsey Bradley scored eight points, while Audrey Grimm added seven for Edgewood. Kensie Ryman and Aubrey Hepler each had five points, while Madison Johnson had three and Kendra Love two.

The Edgewood 8th grade improves to 11-2 on the season.

The Edgewood 7th grade squad won by a 48-13 final.

Abby Sanner led the winners with 14 points. Bailie Stephens was right behind with 13 points in the win. Ain Um and Hannah Hatfield each scored seven points, while Mackenzie Sokol had five and Cora Ransbottom two.

The 7th grade ladies are now 13-0 on the season.

Both Edgewood teams play Lincoln at home on Tuesday night.
