Pop Machines Damaged, Police Seek Information

TIPPECANOE — Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help with information regarding the damage and theft of money from pop machines in the Tippecanoe, Argos and Culver areas the evening of Feb. 9.

Police were notified at 3:52 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, of a criminal mischief and theft from pop machines outside of the Tippy Mart, 18509 SR 331. The investigation revealed the incident took place during the overnight hours between Feb. 9 and 10. Individuals forced the machines open and removed an undisclosed amount of money. The machines were damaged in the process.

Similar thefts from pop machines had occurred in the Argos and Culver area the same night.
