DELPHI – The Lakeland Christian Academy boys basketball team came up short in a 58-33 loss at Delphi Saturday afternoon.

The Cougars trailed just 13-12 after the opening period, but then were outscored by a 34-12 count in the next two quarters.

Josh McDaniel led the way for LCA with 12 points.

Jake Harmon scored nine points and Brandon Keller had six points and six rebounds for the Cougars, who fall to 7-13.

Garrett Tomson led Delphi, now 8-11, with 18 points.

LCA hosts South Bend Community Baptist Tuesday night. Delphi hosts Frontier on Friday night.
