Lisa Jean Sabo, 55, of Syracuse passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at her home.

She was born May 10, 1961 in DuQuoin, Illinois to Herbert Dwight and Ora Jean (Moore) Hitt.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Sabo; two sons, Ryan Sabo of Lawton, Oklahoma and Jayson Sabo of Syracuse; a grandson, Austin Sabo; her mother, Ora Jean Hitt; two sisters, Brenda (Bob) Crabtree of St. Louis, Missouri and Peggy (Jerry) Hall of Benton, Illinois; and a brother, Dwight (Rita) Hitt of Mulkeytown, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Lisa moved to the area ten years ago from Benton, Illinois.  She has been the cafeteria manager at Prairie View Elementary School, Goshen.

A memorial gathering at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home will take place at a later date.
