GOSHEN — Author John Sowers will share information, offer practical insight and engage in discussion about how to best combat the fatherless epidemic that has gripped our communities.  Sowers is the author of “Fatherless Generation: Redeeming The Story” and is the President of the Mentoring Project that has been featured on CNN, NBC and Fox News was well as in Christianity Today and Relevant magazines.

The forum will be held on Tuesday, March 21 at Sugar Grove Church in Goshen. The event is sponsored by the Community Foundation of Elkhart County and DJ Construction.

 “The absence of the father is creating havoc in our society,” notes Ken Locke, Director of the Greater Warsaw Ministerial Association.  “We support this forum wholeheartedly to stress the importance and role of the father in families.  We hope to develop some strategies for mentoring and outreach in Kosciusko County after this event.”
