WARSAW — Marsha McSherry will be seeking the vice chairwoman nomination for the Kosciusko County Republican Party at its March 4 re-organizational caucus. McSherry has served as vice chairwoman under the last five county chairmen — Mike Miner, Aaron Rovenstine, Mike Gavin, Randy Girod and Mike Ragan.

McSherry has held the position for more than 16 years.

Ragan announced Sunday he will be seeking the nomination as county chairman.

Other offices in the county party to be filled are those of secretary, currently held by Austin Rovenstine and treasurer, currently held by Lynn Howie. No word has been received if they will seek nominations for those positions.

The Republican Precinct Committeemen and women and vice-precinct men and women are eligible to vote in the caucuses. The reorganization caucus is held every four years.
