Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:34 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Richard A. Uptegraph, 61, Gondola Drive, Dubuque, Idaho, and Brinda K. Whitaker, 61, North Buffalo Street, Warsaw. Both drivers were headed southbound in separate lanes. Uptegraph attempted to merge into Whitaker’s lane and the two collided. Damage up to $2,500.

Silver Lake

Officers with the Silver Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:19 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, SR 14, Silver Lake. Driver: Marjeanna L. Worley, 50, East. Sycamore Street, Silver Lake. Worley was driving southbound on SR 14 when she fell asleep. When she woke up, she found she had driven off the road and collided with a utility pole. Worley complained of ankle pain and was transported to the Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage up to $5,000.
