Edgewood Ladies Split With NorthWood

basketballThe Edgewood Middle School girls basketball teams earned a split versus host NorthWood in action Monday night.

The Edgewood 7th grade ladies remained undefeated on the season with a 44-9 win.

Bailie Stephens poured in 21 points to pace Edgewood to the convincing win.

Adin Um scored 12 points and Mackenzie Sokol seven as the 7th grade team improved to 10-0. Eryn Watmough and Erin Dawson each had two points for the winners.

NorthWood topped Edgewood 28-23 in the 8th grade contest.

Kensie Ryman scored 14 points and Lindsey Bradley had 10 to lead Edgewood, now 9-1 on the season.

Edgewood will host Tippecanoe Valley on Thursday evening.
