In a recent cross country meet against South Whitley Elementary School, Pierceton Elementary School had four of the top six runners.

The PES Cross Country team, coached by Paula Popenfoose, is composed of mostly third, fourth and fifth graders.

Those top runners in the South Whitley were Kaiden Templeton, Sara Walters, Lily Spurlin and Paige Walmer.
