Harold O. Hile, 82, rural Mentone, passed Tuesday morning, Jan. 31, 2017 at his residence.

He was born on Nov. 25, 1934 in Warsaw to Harold A. and Violet (Jones) Hile.

He married on June 17, 1962 in Warsaw to Bonnie Kay Kindig, she survives.

Harold retired from Zimmer Orthopedics of Warsaw in 1998. He also was in the Automobile Sales for Bledsoe Buick and Pontiac of Warsaw for 20 years.

He was a graduate of Warsaw High School in 1953. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his daughter, Tami (Gary) Keaffaber, Macy; his son, Kris Hile, Mentone; granddaughters: Jennifer (Jeff) Meyer, Albion; Kacie Keaffaber, Fort Wayne; Holly Keaffaber, Macy; great grandchildren, Hayley and Drew Meyer.

He was preceded by his parents, his sister Winfred and a brother Harley.

Following Harold’s request no services will be held.

Burial will be at Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.

Arrangements are Entrusted to King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone.
