WARSAW — SYM Financial Advisors is pleased to announce Brooke Thurlow as the recipient of SYM’s 2016 Client First Service Award.  Each year, the Client First Service Award recognizes a single member of SYM’s team for exemplifying the core values that drive the success of the organization: serving clients uncommonly well and building relationships of trust.

“All of these efforts are supported by the whole team that serves on SYM’s front line,” said Rod Coleman, SYM President. “With that said, this year’s winner set the bar just a bit higher by taking on every challenge given to her, always putting the client first, and going above and beyond to create an uncommon client experience.”

Thurlow joined SYM in a Client Service Representative role in March 2015. She is a 2013 graduate of Northwood University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. Thurlow is currently working toward certification as a Registered Paraplanner (RP®).

SYM Financial Advisors is also pleased to announce Sarah Delahanty as the recipient of the 2016 President’s Award.  SYM’s Board of Directors presents this prestigious award annually to the company’s “most valuable player.”

“2016’s winner hit on all cylinders,” said Rod Coleman, SYM President. “Sarah exhibited solid leadership qualities, took on every challenge and never missed a beat. In addition to her commitment to SYM in 2016, Sarah also found time to contribute to three local non-profits, making them better just as she helped to make SYM better this year.”

Delahanty joined SYM in 2011 and holds an MBA from the DeVos Graduate School of Management at Northwood University as well as the Certified Financial Planner® designation. She and her husband Chris reside in Bay City, Michigan. She is actively involved with the Saginaw Valley State University Foundation board, Midland Zonta Club, and the United Way Community Investment Committee.
