Jamie M. Carter, 44, Marion, died at 12:27 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 in his residence.

He was born Dec. 16, 1972 in Marion. He graduated from Manchester High School class of 1991.  Jamie was a construction worker and he loved his girls, they were his world.  He is survived by daughters, Mya Carter, North Manchester; Taylor Stahlman, Marion; and Jordyn Carter, Marion; his companion, Kim Manuel, Marion; brothers: Jason (Heather) Hawkins, Marion; Doug Carter, North Manchester; and Dan (Sara) Enyeart, Fort Wayne; sisters: Angelia B. (Joe) Norton, Marion; Maria (Anthony) Elliott, Montpelier; and Beth Carter, Upland; biological mother, Deedee Burnham, Marion; nephews,:Peyton Burnham and Brandon Arven; and niece, Aaliyah Haynes.

His parents, Mike and Donna (Mathias) Carter, and one brother are deceased.

Family and friends may call from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester and one hour prior to service on Saturday.  Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at McKee Mortuary, 14001 State Road 114 West, North Manchester.  Rev. Darrell Smith will officiate.  Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion.
