LEESBURG — At approximately 12:15 p.m. today, Saturday, Jan. 14, a car hit a pole at 4492 E. Armstrong Road, Leesburg.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and North Webster First Responders were dispatched to the accident. Witnesses stated they saw the car hit the pole at a high rate of speed, causing the rear of the vehicle to leave the ground.

The driver was transported from the scene with head injuries. No further information is available until the investigation is complete.
