WARSAW — Running a shelter for domestic violence is a big job, and there is always a need for a copy machine, not only for day to day office work, but also to make many different kinds of copies for clients, which could include income verifications, protection orders and other legal documents. The communication options that this machine provides including scanning, emailing and faxing are most helpful in getting information to HUD and other government agencies as well. Sands Office Equipment understood the need and has partnered with the Beaman Home by donating this state-of-the-art copy machine. Beaman Home is thankful for the kind hearts and generosity of the Sands team for this selfless act.

Most people hear Beaman Home and just think of battered women. It’s also men, seniors, children, and breaking of the cycle in so many ways,” says Joe Sands, owner of Sands Office Equipment. “We saw the needs of this vital organization that offers so many more services to our community than we realized, and wanted to support them.”

“We are very grateful to Joe and Myra Sands for this generous gift, and for being able to execute most all of our office work with this one machine.  We could not conduct necessary programming for our clients without community partners like Sands Office Equipment,” says Tracie Hodson, Executive Director of the Beaman Home.  “We can even process our bulk mailings in-house now, instead of sending out for expensive copies.”
