Accidents
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:

  • Monday, Oct. 22, 6:43 a.m. South SR 13, Pierceton. Driver: Sheena M. Walter, 27, South 700 East, South Whitley. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000
  • Saturday, Oct. 20, 6 a.m. SR 15 and West 700 South, Claypool. Driver: Storm M. Hughes, 25, South Peru Road, Silver Lake. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $2,500
  • Friday, Oct. 19, 11:42 p.m. South SR 15 and West 700 South, Claypool. Driver: Carol M. Vick, 44, South Union Street, Warsaw. Driver struck a deer. Damages: up to $5,000

Incidents
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:

  • Saturday, Oct. 20, 4 p.m. A Pierceton woman reported she had a front door kicked in by a Goshen man who also battered her daughter.
  • Friday, Oct. 19, 12 a.m. C&N Property Management reported a door to a vacant house owned by Citibank appeared to have been kicked in. The property is at 8995 E. Hatchery Rd., Syracuse.
