6:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, West SR 14, Silver Lake. Driver: Douglas R. Miller, 46, South CR 800E, Akron. Miller’s vehicle slid off the road and struck a utility pole and a tree. Damage up to $25,000

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

11:26 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Michael R. Cassidy, 32, West Depoy Drive, Columbia City, and Gary G. Slone, 57, South Sr 15, Claypool. Cassidy rear-ended Slone. Damage up to $5,000.

11:33 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, North Detroit Street and East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Megan A. Chauncey, 20, West CR 100S, Warsaw, and Stephanie D. Berlin, 32, East CR 200N, Warsaw. Chauncey went through the intersection thinking she had the green light. She then collided with Berlin, who also thought she had the green light. Damage up to $2,500.
