NAPPANEE – The NorthWood wrestling team dropped a 42-27 final to Goshen in Northern Lakes Conference action Tuesday night.

Winners for the host Panthers were Hunter Warren (126), Garrett Griffith (152), Jake Lone (160), Mikey Edwards (170), Michael Leonard (195) and Andrew Miller (220).

The match saw longtime Goshen coach Jim Pickard claim his 400th career coaching win. Pickard is now 400-125-2 in his 24th year, including a 385-122-1 mark at Goshen.

NorthWood drops to 6-2 overall and goes to 2-2 in the NLC, while Goshen improves to 14-4 overall and 3-1 in league action.

NorthWood returns to league action at Concord next Tuesday night.
