BUNKER HILL – The duo of Isaac Randall and Joseph Irons led the way for the Tippecanoe Valley wrestling team Saturday in the Maconaquah Invitational.

Both Randall and Irons went unbeaten on the day as the Vikings posted a 1-4 team mark. Junior Randall was 5-0 at 160 with two pins and freshman Irons was 5-0 at 170 with three pins.

Valley defeated Whitko 42-30 and lost to Marion (60-24), North Miami (48-36), Lapel (42-22) and Maconaquah (45-36).

Jon Humes posted a 4-1 mark at 152 with three pins for the Vikings. Devin Bandow was 3-2 at 120 with three pins and Chevy Teeter 3-2 at 145 with two pins. Jordan Owens was 2-3 at 138 with one pin, while Haley Hoover was 2-3 at 106 with one pin and Tyler Manuszak 2-3 with one pin at 182. Jacob Eherenman was 1-3 at 113.

Valley returns to action at Manchester Thursday evening.
