Freshman basketball games Monday night had Warsaw and Wawasee claim wins.

In boys hoops, Warsaw crushed Tippecanoe Valley 43-19. Blake Marsh led the way for the Tigers with 13 points, with Drew Yeager netting nine points and Connor Lennox adding eight points. Yeager and Lennox each contributed six rebounds, Marsh had six assists. Tippy had Jaden Conley score seven points and Cade Brouyette six points.

Wawasee’s boys team used two free throws from Ethan Hardy to claim a 19-17 win over West Noble.

In girls freshman buckets, Wawasee got the win in a 26-19 result over Concord. Emily Davis led the Lady Warriors with eight points with Jadison Rostochak adding six points.
