NORTH WEBSTER — On Nov. 23, Christopher Doty, 24, North Webster, was injured in a critical accident that occurred in the area of East CR 1000N, and Koher Road, Syracuse. The family is currently raising money to help offset the costs of his injuries and ensure his family is taken care of.

Doty was found trapped inside his 1997 Buick. Doty was initially conscious at the scene, but after extrication became unconscious and was immediately transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, in critical condition.

Doty still remains at the hospital and according to his wife Brittany, “has a long road to recovery ahead of him.” He suffered many broken bones including bones in both of his legs. His blood count continues to remain low since the accident.

A GoFundMe account has been created to help the family through financially for the holidays and basic necessities. Doty and his wife have two young daughters. Doty obviously has not been able to work and his wife has taken time off of work to be with him at the hospital.

At this time, the family is not sure when Doty will be able to walk again, let alone work.
