Junior Achievement’s Achieve-A-Bowl a Success

WARSAW — On Saturday, Nov. 5, Junior Achievement serving Warsaw/Tippy Valley held it’s annual Achieve-A-Bowl fundraising event at The Bowling Alley in Warsaw.

This year’s event focused on our area Superhero’s and featured bowling teams from the Warsaw Police Department, Lincoln Elementary School, PTO and Leesburg Elementary Students.

Junior Achievement would like to thank this year’s Title sponsors; Parkview Hospital, Tecomet, Louis Dreyfus Company and Orthopediatrics as well as Corporate sponsors; Paragon Medical, First Source Bank/Esther Phleidlerer Trust, Creighton Brothers, Instru-med, DJ Construction, Lake City Bank and Dilling Group.  We would like to say a big thank you to Zolman Farms/Tranzstar for their donation of $6,500 at this year’s event!  Thank you to all the teams that sponsored lanes, prizes and donated their time to come out and support the JA programs serving Warsaw and Tippy Valley.

JA is a non-profit organization that provides in school, economic education for nearly 6,000 students K-12 in Warsaw and Tippecanoe Valley.  Together with local community volunteers and teachers they are educating today’s youth about the basics of financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness.  Your participation in the Achieve-A-Bowl enables JA to bring these sound economic values to the classroom encouraging students’ growth to reach their highest potential and in turn impact our community’s economic future.
