
WARSAW — A Warsaw man has been released from the hospital after a stabbing that occurred Monday, Nov. 21.
A 911 hang up call was received just before 4 p.m. Dispatchers were able to make contact shortly after the hang up and discovered a stabbing had occurred at 310 South Indiana St., Warsaw.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers located the victim, Curtis J. Michael, 40, with a stab wound in his back. The stabbing, done with a knife, occurred at his Indiana Street residence.
Michael was transported to Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne and has since been released.
After being interviewed, Leslie Ann Carter, 43, who also lived at the residence, returned to the scene. Officers were currently serving a search warrant at the residence. Carter was booked for public intoxication and obstruction of justice.
The Warsaw Police Department Detective Division is still investigating the case at this time. No arrest has been made in connection to the stabbing at this point in time.
