Fredrick Cook, known as “Nick” or “Fred” to family and friends, 74, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016, in Greenville, Texas.

He was born June 20, 1941 in South Whitley to Joseph A. and Mary L. (Myers) Cook. He lived in Whitley and Kosciusko Counties for many years before moving to Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Patty (White) Cook; daughters: Wendi (Erik) Pineas, Bridgett (Scott) Jones; and sons James Cook, Larry White; siblings Donna (Ernie) Miller, James Cook, Mary “Kate” (Jack) Phillips, Linda (Jim) Collier, Dennis (Marlena) Mulligan, Thomas Mulligan, Laura (Terry) Minnick, and Jean (Raymond) Scheffler, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and other family members. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Sonja (Jim) Clark, sister, Patty (Eugene) Stewart, and brother, Michael (Susan) Mulligan.
