Peggy Ann Alcorn Clark
Peggy Ann Alcorn Clark, North Manchester, formerly of South Bend, died Nov. 1, 2016.
She was born on April 7, 1936 in to Harold and Garnet Alcorn in Williamson, W. Va. She graduated from Portsmouth (Ohio) High School in 1954. On May 18, 1957, she married Joseph Clark.
Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She was a lifelong crafter, eventually turning her love for sewing and crafts into a passion for quiltmaking. Her beautiful quilts won many awards and were admired by friends and family. She loved and raised many pets throughout the years. She attended church faithfully and loved her friends and Sunday School companions at Calvary Baptist Church in South Bend.
She is survived by her children: Barry (Heather) Clark, Gregory (Anne) Clark, Jennifer (Scott) Dokey; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, one brother.
Family and friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 North Bendix Drive, South Bend. Services will be at 11 a.m. at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 North Bendix Drive, South Bend. Pastor Reed Anderstom will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Memorial Park, Mishawaka.
