Quintet Of Tigers Highlights XC All-Academic

TERRE HAUTE – Five members of the Warsaw girls cross country team were selected to the first team of the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches All-Academic state teams.

Anna Craig, Amanda Hermann, Allison Miller, Charlene Orr and Lauren Orr all were chosen for the First-Team All-Academic list, which features runners from the state of Indiana. To be considered for the list, runners must be part of the sectional roster, carry at least a 3.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), as a senior have scores of 1,200/26 on the SAT/ACT, or juniors have a 120/1,140 on the PSAT.

Over 50 boys and girls from the area were named to the various lists:

Girls First Team

Michaella Burchett and Brittany Linn of Lakeland; Hannah Selis of Penn; Caroline O’Callaghan, Lauren Rymsza and Katrina Sakimoto of South Bend St. Joe.

Girls Honorable Mention

Hannah Yeakey of Bethany Christian; Claire Martinez of Culver Academy; Lauren Beckmann and Kayla Daniels of DeKalb; Jessica Vandiver of East Noble; Hope Sustaita of Lakeland; Tahnee Fuentes of Manchester; Nichole Eccles of North Miami; Hannah Walter of NorthWood; Lorena Daugherty, Lauren Frank and Emma Jankowski of Penn; Grace Maher of South Bend St. Joe; Carman Draves of Westview.

Boys First Team
