WARSAW — A local bus service is providing Kosciusko County residents with free transportation to voting booths on Election Day.

The Kosciusko County Area Bus Service is providing an additional bus to their regularly scheduled route to provide transportation from individual’s homes in Kosciusko County to resident’s designated voting booths from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

KABS general manager Robert Cunningham stated this bus route will be on a “First come, first served basis.” He estimates the bus route should get booked pretty quickly and individuals should call ahead of time if they want a spot.

To reserve a spot on the bus, individuals should call (574) 267-4990.

Cunningham stated KABS is offering free transportation because, “We’re trying to do a little something to help voter turnout.”
