Billy E. Hudson, 76, Warsaw, passed away at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 in Warsaw Meadows Care Center.

On March 1, 1939, he was born in Warsaw to Raymond “Bunk” and Geralden (Webb) Hudson. He was united in marriage to Laura Ann Smaltz Oct. 19, 1958 in Leesburg, who preceded him in death Sept. 21, 2002.

A lifetime resident of Warsaw and Mentone, Billy worked for Whimet Inc., Warsaw as a metal polisher. He also was a member of United States Canoeing Association.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (and spouse Mark) Harman, Silver Lake; his son, Tim (and spouse Nola) Hudson, Claypool; his sister, Bonnie (and spouse Bob) McCullough, Fort Wayne; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. 

Billy was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marolyn Brown and Carolyn Thompson.

A graveside service will be held at noon Friday, Oct. 28 in Leesburg Cemetery with Pastor Rick Cooper officiating.  McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with the arrangements.
