Linda Sue Mccosh, 63, Lagrange, passed away Oct. 20, 2016 in Fort Wayne at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born June 17, 1953 the daughter of Earl and Ruth (Flowers) Dean. On July 6, 1987 she married John Mccosh in Rock Hill, SC; he survives.

Also surviving are her sons: William Gregory (Margaret Shawn) Nance of Kings Mountain, N.C.; and Thomas Christopher (Sue) Nance of Indian Trail, N.C.; eight grandchildren; four brothers: Timothy Dean, Billy “Bill” Dean, William “”PeeWee” Dean, and Alan Dean; along with a sister, Debra Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant twins; and a brother, Desi Dean.

Linda grew up in the Baptist church and worked for several decades as a spinner in the textile mills of North Carolina. She loved her pet bird, Sam, and was a proud Bingoholic. Above all, Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother that will be greatly missed.

The family will host a celebration of life gathering at a later date in South Carolina. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.

Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
