Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:22 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, WEst S.R. 25, Mentone. Drivers: Stephen Walsh,20, South Holhman Lane, Claypool, Norma Bauer, 50, S.R. 25, Mentone and Garrett Feldman, 16, West CR 800S, Claypool.  Walsh rear ended Bauer’s vehicle which rear ended Feldman’s vehicle due to impact. Damages up to $50,000.

10:08 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, East CR 225S, Warsaw. Driver: Carlie Shepherd, 48, S.R. 25, Warsaw. Shepherd swerved her vehicle to avoid a deer and collided with a utility pole. Damages up to $25,000.

10:16 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, South S.R. 13, Pierceton. Driver: Penni Harris, 41, Lake Shore Drive, Warsaw. Harris’ vehicle struck a deer. Damages up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

8:09 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, West CR 250N and North Detroit St., Warsaw. Drivers: Joshua Barker, 42, North 3rd St., Warsaw and Kathryn Tritt, 35, Sumac Lane, North Webster. Both vehicles collided at the intersection. Damages up to $2,500.
