8:06 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 600 block of West Brooklyn Street, Syracuse. A female reported a battery had occurred in the presence of a child.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:

• 9:26 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 500 block of South Detroit Street, Warsaw. Linda S. Kirkendall found a bike at Warsaw Cut Glass.
• 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 500 block of West 300 North, Warsaw. Personnel at Kohl’s reported the theft of two pairs of Nike running shoes, two Nike shirts, two Nike pairs of pants and two pairs of Champion shorts.
