A host of area teams were active in Thursday IHSAA Boys Soccer Regional tournaments around the state. Here’s a rundown of how they fared, and who continues the march toward immortality.

Class 2-A at Fort Wayne Carroll

West Noble 2
Homestead 1
Uriel Macias scored both goals for No. 15 West Noble, his second in the 64th minute to give the Chargers the lead for good.

Fort Wayne Northrop 5
Norwell 0

West Noble and Fort Wayne Northrop play Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Carroll Regional final.

Class 2-A at South Bend Adams

Concord 1
South Bend St. Joseph’s 0
Nate Conder notched the only goal of the game in the first half, sending No. 17 Concord to the regional finals.

Penn 4
Plymouth 1
Drew Fulmer scored two goals while Jackson Hopkins and Ivan Gomez notched a goal apiece for the No. 5 Kingsmen.

Penn and Concord play Saturday night at 7 p.m. for the right to earn a semi-state berth.

Class 1-A at Argos

Argos 1
Oak Hill 0
Lukas VanDerWeele was the hero for the No. 3 Dragons, sending the home team to the next round.

Lafayette Central Catholic 3
Rochester 1
Will Thonn had the only goal for the Zebras.

Argos and LCC will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday night in the regional final.

Class 1-A at LaVille

Mishawaka Marian 2
Andrean 0

North White 3
Hebron 0

Marian, ranked No. 5 and the defending state champion in Class 1-A, and North White will tussle at 7 p.m. Saturday night at Newton Park.

Class 1-A at Whitko

Fort Wayne Blackhawk 4
Lakewood Park Christian 1

Westview 2
Bellmont 0

Blackhawk and No. 7 Westview will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday night with a semi-state ticket on the line.
