Officials with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

2:07 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, North Detroit Street and Lyon Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Nathan D. Kinney, 22, Crescent Drive, Warsaw, and Sherman A. Garringer, 48, 4538 East CR 150S, Rochester. Kinney rear-ended Garringer. Damages up to $5,000.

6:41 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, North Detroit Street and Lyon Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Lilli K. Hertel, 17, Section Street, Claypool, and Gary L. Wilkinson, 53, 1532 South CR 900W, Larwill. Hertel rear-ended Wilkinson. Damages up to $2,500.

7:42 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2211 E. Center St., Warsaw. Driver: Dawn M. Kirby, 43,  Lake City Highway, Warsaw. As Kirby was backing out of a parking spot, she hit an unoccupied parked vehicle. Damages up to $5,000.

Kosciusko

Officials with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

7:05 p.m Saturday, Oct. 1, West CR 100S and South CR 550W, Warsaw. Driver: Brianna E. Duff, 24, North Thayer Street. To avoid a collision with an unknown vehicle entering her lane, Duff had to swerve off the road. Duff’s vehicle then hit a steel fence post. Damages up to $2,500.

1:01 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, South SR 13 and South CR 650E, Pierceton. Driver: Philip T. Balke, 26, South Maple St., Pierceton. Balke fell asleep as he was traveling on SR 13, After Balke falling asleep, his vehicle left the east side of the roadway and struck a concrete embankment and overturned, eventually coming to a rest on its passenger side. Damages up to $10,000.
