INDIANAPOLIS —The NfL quarterback who sparked the conversation about race and patriotism will be featured on the next cover of TIME Magazine.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is shown kneeling on the cover of the Oct. 3 issue.
Kaepernick has kneeled during the national anthem at the team’s past two regular-season games and the final preseason game in San Diego. He says he’s protesting racial inequality and oppression in the United States.
