
WARSAW — At approximately 7:03 a.m., Warsaw first responders were dispatched to a car, semi-trailer truck accident at the intersection of CR 350N and SR 15, Warsaw.
According to officers on the scene, two people were transported from the accident with injuries. The Semi Driver, Don Padley, 72, Butler, MO, was transported to KCH for possible hip injury. The car driver, Kristi Kiser, 27, Meadow Ridge Drive, Warsaw, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was conscious and alert at the scene but had complaint of pain to her entire body. Kiser was transported by ambulance to Lutheran Fort Wayne.
An infant child in the car was in a child safety seat and uninjured.
Witnesses at the intersection said the car had a green light and the semi ran the light. The accident is still under investigation at this point.
Traffic was heavily backed up in all directions for over an hour after the accident as officials cleaned up the scene.
