The Farmers and Artisans Market will conclude Oct. 13 during the Syracuse Fall Harvest Festival. Hours will be as normal, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Veteran’s Memorial Park at Crosson Mill Park, Syracuse.

In conjunction with the Fall Harvest Festival, 35 vendors, including a few local organizations, will be present at the market.

Local organizations that will be present include the Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, Syracuse Lions Club, Rock Solid youth group and local Cub Scouts. These organizations will be selling food items from ham and beans and corn bread to funnel cakes, popcorn, hot cider and caramel apples. The Kiwanis Club will also be on hand with fun games.

Regular vendors at the Farmers and Artisans Market will be at the festival as well, offering a wide variety of jewelry, craft items, produce, herbs, bake goods, candy and more.

In addition to the vendors, hay rides will be available at the park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pulled by a tractor, the ride will travel from the park down Boston Street to Main Street and then onto Dolan Drive. Cost will be $5 for families and $1 per person.

A petting zoo will also be present during the festivities with animals like rabbits and small pigs. The petting zoo is free.
