LCA Soccer: Blum Paces Victory

Lakeland-Christian-AcademyGRANGER – Noel Blum had a big performance to pace the Lakeland Christian Academy boys soccer team to a convincing win Saturday.

Blum powered in a pair of goals and added a pair of assists as the Cougars blanked host Granger Christian 5-0.

Sophomore Blum had a goal in the first half as did the trio of freshman Parker Stewart and sophomores Theran McKeever and Landon Twombly as the Cougars led 4-0 at halftime.

Blum added another tally in the second half for the 5-0 win.

Stewart also had an assist for LCA, which had an 18-7 edge in shots and a 9-6 advantage in shots on goal in the match.

Sophomore goalie Cross Wililams had six saves for the winners.

LCA, which improves to 6-3-1, plays at Manchester on Tuesday night.
