The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

4:29 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, South SR 15 and West Hill Lake Road, Silver Lake. Drivers: Joshua D. McCray, Marion Avenue, Warsaw and Brian J. Nelson, 51, East SR 14, Rochester. McCray rear-ended Nelson. Damage up to $5,000.

5:03 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, South Rowland Avenue and West School Street, Leesburg. Driver: Heather L. Davis, 35, South Rowland Avenue, Leesburg. Davis swerved to miss children running in the street and hit a unoccupied parked vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

The Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

6:51 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, Lake City Highway and Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Mark J. Moore, 52, Beaver Creek Court, Fort Wayne, Sardin Hozanovic, 25, Clarks Passage, Fort Wayne, and Larry L. Coburn, 51, Currie Hill Street, Fort Wayne. The three drivers were west bound on Lake City Highway when traffic stopped abruptly causing Moore to rear-end Coburn. Hozanovic, following the two vehicles, then rear-ended Moore. Damage up to $25,000.
