VALPARAISO – The Warsaw boy soccer team came up on the short end of a match at Valparaiso on Saturday.

The host Vikings took the non-conference contest by a 6-0 final.

Warsaw, which drops to 2-6-2 on the season, will play a conference game at NorthWood Tuesday night.

The Warsaw junior varsity team blanked Valparaiso 3-0 Saturday. Scoring goals for the JV Tigers were Augustine Hilgado, Aden Wade and Jorge Rico. Elian Mejia had a pair of assists for the Tigers and Rico added one.

The Warsaw JV team improves to 4-2 on the season.
